- What is Cherev?
- Cherev is an Israeli defense-technology company founded by veterans of Israel's special forces. It builds AI systems for intelligence and mission support, a marksmanship and tactical-training system called Keshet Yehonatan, and counter-FPV drone defense capability. The name is Hebrew for "sword".
- Does Cherev build AI for offensive military use?
- Yes. Cherev develops AI systems for military and national-security organizations for both defensive and offensive applications. Those programs, their customers and their status are not described publicly.
- What does the intelligence platform actually do?
- An analyst sends a document, image or question through a secure messaging interface. The platform detects the language, translates into Hebrew, extracts people, organizations, locations, equipment and other entities, adds location context, identifies weapons in imagery, checks image metadata, cross-references against the organization's own knowledge base and returns a structured product. Each organization is isolated and encrypted separately.
- Is Keshet Yehonatan battle-proven?
- No, and we do not describe it that way. It is a training system designed by veterans with operational and instructor experience. It is used in drills, not in combat. Demonstrations are arranged on request.
- Who are Cherev's customers?
- Military, national-security and law-enforcement organizations. We do not publish customer names, deployment locations or contract details. References are provided to qualified buyers under NDA where the customer agrees.
- Is Cherev ISO or STANAG certified?
- We display no certification badges on this site. Where a program requires a standard such as ISO 27001 or a NATO STANAG, we build to it under contract and document compliance in writing for that customer.
- Can Cherev stop fiber-optic drones?
- No single vendor can, and no jammer can. Cherev assesses a unit's exposure, designs a layered non-RF response using partner sensors and effectors, and trains the crews who must detect, decide and engage in seconds. Read the counter-FPV brief for the full picture.
- How do I arrange a briefing or demonstration?
- Use the contact form and say which capability you are evaluating and in what context. A founder replies directly. Briefings are held in Israel or remotely; demonstrations at your location by agreement.
